Upgrade and maintenance of municipal website for a period of 36 months
1. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals for the redesign, hosting, maintenance and technical support of its official corporate website, in line with the terms of the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The Municipality currently runs a fully functional, maintained corporate website under the domain name [www.albertluthuli.gov.za](https://www.albertluthuli.gov.za). The website is a key communication platform. Through it, the Municipality shares information with residents, businesses, investors, government stakeholders and the public about municipal services, council activities, public notices, policies, vacancies, procurement opportunities and community engagement. The Municipality now wants to redesign the website to improve its look, functionality, accessibility, security and user experience. The redesigned website should reflect the Municipality's corporate identity and work well on mobile devices. It should be easy to navigate and give officials a reliable way to publish municipal information on time. The appointed service provider will redesign the existing website and migrate the relevant content. They will also provide secure hosting, routine maintenance, technical support, backups and system updates, and train designated municipal officials. All services must be delivered according to the agreed SLA, so that the website remains available, secure, current and compliant with applicable legislative and governance requirements.
