Appointment of a Suitable and Qualified Service Provider to Develop the ICT Strategy and Cost ICT projects.
3. SCOPE OF WORK DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS Below are the specifications of the services to be procured. 1. Assessment of Current ICT Environment: • Review and assess SAQA’s current ICT infrastructure, systems, and capabilities. • Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the existing ICT environment. 2. Stakeholder Engagement • Conduct interviews and workshops with key stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and expectations. • Document stakeholder requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals. 3. ICT Strategy Development Use the assessment results to improve on the current draft strategy: • Develop a detailed ICT Strategy that is aligned with SAQA’s strategy for the period 2025-2030. • Identify projects to be undertaken and implemented to meet the strategic objectives of the ICT Strategic Plan over a five-years budgeting period. • Address key areas such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, data management, and customer service enhancements. • Develop and implement a Project Impact Assessment Framework that will be used to measure the impact of ICT projects undertaken in the ICT Unit (e.g. impact against the ICT Strategic Plan). 4. Technology Roadmap • Create a Technology and Digital Roadmap outlining the initiatives required to implement the ICT Strategy. • Include timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and potential risks. 5. Cost all ICT Projects and Develop an Implementation Plan • Provide actionable recommendations for technological solutions. • Develop a high-level implementation plan to guide the execution of the Technology Roadmap Note: The draft strategy should be established for completed within 4 weeks of commencement.
